Study Tour for International Students

On February 14, 2025, a total of 18 participants—including 12 international students, 3 Japanese students, and 3 faculty members—went on a study tour to Tochigi Prefecture.
Blessed with clear skies, the group first visited Mashiko city in the morning, where they experienced painting designs on Mashiko-yaki teacups and enjoyed a traditional Japanese lunch. In the afternoon, they toured the Mitutoyo co. Utsunomiya Factory, gaining insights into both Japan’s traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge production technology.
It was a valuable study tour, offering a unique blend of cultural and technological learning.
*The finished Mashiko-yaki ceramics have been delivered in a month, serving as a wonderful keepsake of the trip!
