International Student Study Tour Held

On February 10, 2026, a total of 18 participants—14 international students, 2 Japanese students, and 2 faculty and staff members from our department—visited Oshino in Yamanashi Prefecture for an international student study tour.
Blessed with clear skies, the group enjoyed magnificent views of Mt. Fuji from Oshino Hakkai. In the morning, participants experienced making houtou, a traditional local noodle dish, by hand. In the afternoon, they toured the factory of FANUC Corporation.
The tour provided a valuable opportunity to experience both traditional Japanese craftsmanship and cutting-edge manufacturing technology, making it a truly meaningful study trip.
