Master Thesis Template 2013

2013/12/12

ImportantSpecial Seminar (8 units): Notification of Poster presentation (for those registered in April 2013).

2013/04/18

Those enrolled for the above SPECIAL SEMINAR must present their research work according to the following procedure:

  1. Location: Eng. 14th building, 1st floor, Room 142
  2. Date&Time: January 16, 2014. The candidates must arrive by 8:45 am.
  3. Venue: Eng. 14th building, 3rd floor, Room 325
  4. The candidates must hang their posters using the area equivalent to A1 size at the designated place in the presentation room.
  5. Master's course students with odd ID numbers should defend from 9:30am to 10:35am, and the remaining master's course students with even number should defend from 10:40am to 11:45. However, they are free to join the discussion with other students.
  6. The candidates are not allowed to leave the room until the session is officially closed.
  7. The candidates must submit their final A4 reports from 10:00 am on January 6, to 17:00 pm on January 10, 2014.

Those registered for the above Special Research should read carefully the document " Special seminar" for details and inquire if in doubt.

Those enrolled for the above SPECIAL SEMINAR must present their research work according to the following procedure:

  1. Location: Eng. 14th building, 3rd floor, Room 325
  2. Date&Time: July 5, 2013. The candidates must arrive by 10:00 am.
  3. Venue: Eng. 14th building, 3rd floor, Room 325
  4. The candidates must hang their posters using the area equivalent to A1 size at the designated place in the presentation room.
  5. Each candidate should defend from 10:30am to 11:30am in front of his poster.
  6. The candidates are not allowed to leave the room until the session is officially closed.
  7. The candidates must submit their final A4 reports from 10:00 am on June 24 to 17:00 pm on June 28, 2013.

  2. Date&Time: July 11, 2012. The applicants must show up to the room by 10:00 in the morning.
  3. The applicants must post their posters (in A1 size) at the designated places in the presentation room.
  4. The applicants are not allowed to leave the room until the session is officially closed.
  5. The applicants must submit the final reports within the period, from June 25 to 29, 2012, for successful credit earning.

Announcement of juries for the Special Research of the Precision Engineering (6 units), for those registered on April 2010

2010/12/15

Those enrolled for the above Special Research are requested to contact their juries as soon as possible and set a date for the defense. The defense must be completed no later than the 31st of January, 2011. Each of the applicants must reserve a room and set a video projector under his own responsibility. For successful credit earning, the applicants must submit the final report to the department office, within one week from the date of the defense.

Those enrolled for the above Special Research should submit a resume of their work (1~2 pages of A4 paper). The resume should include title of research, your name, student number, and main text.

Failure to submit the resume during the period of submission automatically cancels your enrollment for this Special Research. If you submit the resume, two juries will be selected based on your submission. Failure to defend your work (oral exam) and submit a final report within the designated period will result in a "FAIL" as your mark for the Special Research.

Period of Submission:

  • From Nov. 8, 2010 to Nov. 12, 2010, submit to the administrative office of the Department of Precision Engineering.

  2. Date&Time: January 20, 2011. The applicants must show up to the room by 9:00 in the morning.
  3. The applicants must post their posters (in A1 size) at the designated places in the presentation room.
  4. The applicants are not allowed to leave the room until the session is officially closed.
  5. The applicants must submit the final reports within the period, from January 4 to 14, 2011, for successful credit earning.
